Our Student Ready Packs are designed to be easy to grab and carry, when exiting a building quickly is the main priority. These emergency packs are often more practical than centrally located cabinet or 'wheeli-bin' based kits which may not be accessible or cannot be practically moved. Each After Shake pack is comprehensive and allows each person to be prepared with important survival items.
In the event of a major earthquake during school or day-care/kindergarten hours there is a high likelihood that students/children will not be able to quickly return to their homes. Likewise, parents & caregivers may be unable to reach the school from their homes or workplaces. Having an emergency plan in place to provide the basic supports of health, shelter and food for a recommended period of 72 hours is vital.
